FEATURED WORK

Breaking Free

For the Boston tower project, I worked toward a design solution from two directions. The first method involved a model massing study, while the second method studied the design from the inside out through plan and section. The intent was to reinforce the established street edge and then ‘break free’ from it as I turned to face the city and the sun.

Interstitial

My thesis project focused on the use of interstitial spaces in architecture and how they may be used to inform an architectural experience. My original research also proposes a catalog of interstitial spaces and their architectural purpose. -------------------------------- AIA Unbuilt Award Student Category (2017) Roger Richmond Thesis Award (2018)
